Programs for all ages

  • Seed Library – A place for gardeners to get seeds for their gardens for free or bring seeds to share.
  • Book Clubs – The library host four book clubs throughout the year; Bygone, GIPL, Cooking the Books, and Crimetime.
  • Authors are often invited to do book talks.
  • Summer Reading – The Library offers a fun way for all ages to record their reading minutes and earn prizes. Encourages teens, and kids to read more over the summer break.
  • Outreach – The Library participates in outreach events to schools, daycares, nursing homes, parks, community organizations, and agencies.
  • Homebound – With the help of volunteers, the library can deliver materials to patrons who reside in nursing homes or care facilities or cannot come the library themselves.
  • Special Programs – Victorian Tea Party, Bear fair, Breakfast with Santa, Dr. Seuss Birthday.
  • Art in the Art Alcove – The Library Partners with local artist, vendors, and organizations to host shows and exhibits in the Library’s Art Alcove.
